The Advancing Services for Psychosis Integration and Recovery (ASPIRE) clinic is now accepting referrals at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC). We provide comprehensive evaluation and outpatient treatment for individuals experiencing early symptoms of psychosis. Integrated within the larger BIDMC community, we offer coordinated, multidisciplinary care focused on every patient’s individual needs. Our academic center also offers opportunities to participate in clinical research geared toward understanding and developing innovative treatments for early psychosis.
Eligibility
Age: 19-45 years old
Diagnosis: Developed a psychotic illness for over a week but less than 5 years
Primary Care: The ASPIRE clinic requires clients to be receiving primary care or other services at BIDMC prior to starting treatment. Clients willing to transition primary care to BIDMC will be considered.

Comprehensive psychiatric diagnostic assessment
Ongoing psychiatric evaluation and medication management
Neuropsychological assessment
Integrated treatment with primary care and other medical services at BIDMC
Coordination with Addiction Psychiatry, Neuropsychiatry and Perinatal Mental Health at BIDMC
Support and education for family members
Second opinion consultation services
Research-oriented clinic with the goal of improving our understanding of psychosis and investigating new treatments
Individual Psychotherapy available
Cognitive Enhancement Therapy, Multifamily Treatment, and Psychoeducation Groups
School and Work Coaching services
Cost
We accept all health insurances with the exception of Cigna
